Claim a business

Claiming a record tells us you speak for the business, so we can reach you when something on its page changes or when a value needs settling.

The last part of the page address, after /business/.

An address at the business's own domain is the quickest thing for us to check. Any address works; it may take longer to verify. We will not write to it.

What claiming does not do

It does not let you edit the record. There is no screen anywhere in this system for typing a value into a business's page, and being the owner does not create one.

What it does is put a name to the record, so a correction from you is read as coming from the business, and so we can ask you when something does not add up.

An independent public record of American local businesses. Every value carries a source and the date it was checked.
