Send a correction

Tell us what is wrong and show us what is right. A correction is weighed against the source you give it, so the page it points at matters more than the words you use.

A licence register, the business's own website, anything a stranger can open and check. We do not take a correction on trust, including from the business itself.

Kept with the correction so a reviewer knows where it came from. Never published, and we will not write to it.

What happens next

A correction does not edit the page. It goes to a person with the source you gave, and if it holds up the value changes with that source recorded against it and the date it was checked.

Nobody, including the business, can type a value straight into a record. That is the whole point of the thing.
